The history of the Hamley & Co. Western Store began in Cornwall, England, where the saddle and leather craftsmanship trade was passed down from generation to generation. J.J. and Henry Hamley established Hamley & Co. in 1905 and set up shop in Pendleton, Oregon, the same building that exists today.
