Grey Blue Tones Large Buckaroo Cowl

When it comes to staying warm in the outdoors, you can trust the Buckaroo Cowl from Kanaine! This handmade piece of art is the perfect combination of Western influences and street style. Built to last, this cowl is meant to be worn like a scarf and will keep you warm horseback riding, on a walk, or in the woods. We are proud to partner with the talented Sydelle Harrison, the owner of Kanaine, as a part of our Northwest Native American Designer Showcase.

Equity and balance are central to my inspiration. I started the business to provide a creative outlet while I navigated motherhood. My time became more precious and the systems I was involved with were not supportive in the ways that my family or community needed. I set out to create a lane in business that allows for creative vision, bilateral learning, longterm mastery, and connection through products that empower. Each piece carefully created in my shop is meant to carry with it a story essential to who I am and where I am from. Wearing Kanaine is to walk in the power of your own story.” -Sydelle Harrison

Additional information

The history of the Hamley & Co. Western Store began in Cornwall, England, where the trade of saddle and leather craftsmanship was passed down from generation to generation. The Hamley tradition found its way to America and in 1883, J.J. and Henry Hamley established Hamley & Co. In 1905, Hamley & Co. found a permanent home in Pendleton, Oregon and set up shop in the same building that exists today.
